This Saturday, I had the pleasure of working a vow renewal/wedding ceremony and reception that was decked out in Orange and Gold. While we set the tables on Friday night, the orange seemed like it might be a little bit TOO much, but once the centerpieces, uplighting, cake, chair covers and sashes and final details were set, it really came together beautifully. Best of all, the bride loved it (it was her favorite color) and everybody seemed to have a wonderful time!
All of the tables had a papaya satin underlay and a tangerine Ribbon Rose overlay,
including the place card table.
Also, I didn’t get a close up, but the bride ordered cork place card holders on Etsy
that were pre-cut and stamped with their names and the date.
The ceremony was held on-site at RiverCrest Golf Club under the pool terrace, and was beautiful, especially with the 3 violinists playing during the Processional and Recessional.
As guests entered Cocktail Hour, they were greeted by an ice sculpture of Bella the Cat
in her glory- surrounded by seafood! There was also a Crab Cake Slider station, a Pasta Station, a Mashed Potato Martini Bar, a Global Dim Sum Station (with an addition of Swedish Meatballs), Miniature Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup Shooters, and A Beef/Chicken/Vegetable Skewer Station and a large Antipasto display.
They entered the ballroom to see gorgeous tables with gold silverware, gold chargers, papaya napkins folded into pockets with Menu cards detailing the meal (salad, soup, duet entree and dessert!), gold-rimmed bread & butter plates, coffee cups and saucers, and these gorgeous candelabras complete with flowers and feathers! Oh, and there was a live band!

The chair covers and sashes really completed the look. Our chairs are a nice tan color, but they didn’t quite go with the color scheme, so I’m glad they rented chair covers, and the bows looked so pretty!
The bride and groom sat at a Sweetheart Table and their parents were at the first table
on either side of the room.
I didn’t take any pictures of dinner or dessert, but it should suffice to say that dinner was spectacular, and dessert was extensive (their chocolate chip cookie Cake, a Chocolate Fountain with all of the accoutrements, an Ice Cream Sundae Station, and on the way out, a Candy Buffet).
Phew! What a night- and what a lot of prep on all ends- but it was a beautiful day and I was so honored to play a part in it! Congrats to the bride & groom!
